Trustees – Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance

Job description

We are seeking to appoint two Trustees to enhance the skills, experience and diversity of our Board in the areas of finance, accounting, and legal.

We are LNAA and we aspire to save lives every day. We are led by our values – Teamwork, Respect, Innovation, Compassion.

We serve a population of almost 1.6m across Lincs & Notts. Since we first took to the air in 1994, we have been tasked to over 26,000 emergencies.

Accidents and medical emergencies can change lives forever and that’s why we are committed to saving lives and providing cutting-edge, pre-hospital critical care. We are a vital part of your community, your lives and your safety.

We are one of the UK’s leading Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) charities. If somebody is involved in a serious incident or suddenly taken ill, speed and time are of the essence. Giving a patient the best chance of making a full recovery, our Air Ambulance crew effectively take the hospital to the scene of the emergency. The aircraft can fly at approximately 160mph to any point in the two counties in less than 20 minutes, which is essential in getting patients to hospital as quickly as possible.

We are seeking to appoint two Trustees to enhance the skills, experience and diversity of our Board in the areas of finance, accounting and legal. Trustees are volunteers and are highly valued for their contribution to the Charity. Your contributions will allow you to make a real difference to LNAA’s life saving service – providing the opportunity to use your connections, professional skills and life experience to make a demonstrable impact.

We are happy to accept applications from applicants outside of the two counties as long as they are able to commit to attending the quarterly board meetings at our Headquarters.

More information is available in our attached job pack.

The closing date for applications is 30th April 2023.
