We are looking for new Trustees to join our existing Board to help develop and deliver our plans for the future. ?
As well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills, we are particularly looking for a Trustee with skills in finance, including financial control and general experience in financial and commercial environments.?
This trustee position is a vital part of the Board of Trustees and their work is integral to the operation of the charity. This can make the role more time demanding than general trustee positions.?
Because we run entirely on volunteers, we are looking for Trustees who are prepared to get actively involved with the charity and as such you would need to be able to commit an average of up to 4 days per month. ?
Experienced Trustees with other relevant skills and experience, particularly in leading charities or businesses, are also very welcome to apply, as we are seeking to create a diverse board. ?
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to meet some of the existing Trustees at The People’s Kitchen on August 9th in the afternoon/evening to discuss this opportunity further.
