NRCPD is looking for three new lay Trustees

NRCPD are looking for three new lay trustees to join the Board.

Our purpose is to promote the unlimited inclusion of d/Deaf and deafblind people through effective and excellent communication services.

NRCPD promotes the value of regulation to the professions, service users, Governments and public, private and not for profit organisations. We set high professional standards for language support professionals and maintain registers of those who meet these standards.

Our registers are growing every year and we now have more than 1,600 registrants.

NRCPD is committed to cultivating and preserving a culture of inclusion.

We are more effective and learn better together when our Board is reflective of the communities that we work in.

What we are looking for

Our trustees are required to have strategic vision, independent judgement, the desire to challenge where needed, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

We are looking for three lay Trustees (i.e. people who are not on our registers as translators, interpreters, etc.) who have a variety of skills and experience.  These could include business development and management, experience of public policy, membership services and support, marketing and fundraising.

You need to be able to demonstrate the contribution you could make to the management and development of NRCPD.

Our trustees are required to have strategic vision, independent judgement, the desire to challenge the status quo and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
