About the Professional Gardeners’ Trust
The Professional Gardeners’ Trust (PGT) provides gardeners who could not otherwise afford it with the opportunity to acquire skills and gain qualifications. This enhances their careers and benefits the horticulture profession as a whole.
We’re a small team of trustees and officers who meet three times a year (normally via Zoom and once as an ‘away day’, usually at an inspiring garden) and who field applications on a weekly basis. 2024 will be our 20th anniversary and we’re keen to use that as a chance to build awareness of the work we do.
We are currently recruiting for a Chair who has strong contacts within the industry enabling them to act as a figurehead for the charity’s work and maintain good relationships with existing donors. Closing date 21 November.
