How splendid is your isolation?

Even if you’re the one and only, there’s no reason to be lonely.

First, the rules:

If you have symptoms of coronavirus, however mild, OR you have received a positive test result, the clear medical advice is  immediately to self-isolate at home for at least 7 days from when your symptoms started. Don’t go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital. You should arrange a test to see if you have COVID-19 – go to testing to arrange. Contact people you’ve had close contact within the last 48 hours, let them know you have symptoms.

Following a positive test result and a request by text, email or phone, log into the NHS Test and Trace service website and provide the information they ask for. After 7 days, or longer, if you still have symptoms (other than cough or loss of sense of smell/taste),  continue self-isolating until you feel better.

Now , what do you do? Well, along with binge watching Netflix and iPlayer, taking up baking, learning Greek and bringing the exercise bike up from the basement, we suggest you get ready to join RP’s Splendid Isolation Facebook group when it appears and find out what’s keeping others busy and amused.

If you send us a note, we’ll send you a link (contact@retirementpostponed.com) when it goes live.

See you there!

The RP team.
