Treasury Committee Independent Member – Southern Housing Group

£5,000 pa pert time

About the role

Southern Housing was formed in December 2022 following the merger of Optivo and Southern Housing Group. With 77,000 homes, it is the sixth largest association nationally, the largest in Kent and Sussex, and one of the largest in London. We are starting 2023 with great vision and much work to do after the merger. Our combined team gives us strength and resilience but also a responsibility to maintain good governance, and ensure we continue to move along a positive path over our integration.

We have two specific openings: one in our Treasury Committee, and one in our Integration & Transformation Committee.

We are seeking a collaborative treasury executive from a corporate organisation of scale to bring diversity to our thinking.

We are seeking a change delivery specialist who has guided post-merger integration of processes and ways of working.

We are excited to meet candidates from other sectors that share our commitment to quality affordable housing and an exceptional resident experience. We also welcome candidates with no previous board or committee experience, but who bring the expertise and challenge an organisation of our size needs. We actively work to ensure our people represent the diversity of our communities and encourage applicants from all backgrounds to apply.
