Members of Court – University of the Highlands and Islands

Non-remunerated

Situated across the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, a place of outstanding natural beauty, the University of the Highlands and Islands (UHI) boasts centres of excellence and world-class thinking that are pushing the boundaries of academic and applied knowledge in many areas. UHI delivers qualifications at all levels up to PhD, which means that students can start where they need to and progress as far as they want.

Aspen People are currently working with UHI to appoint new Members of the University Court. University Members of Court will assist the development of UHI by providing high level strategic oversight and governance. The University Court consists of up to 21 members, including students, academic and support staff, and a majority of independent members. In 2021 the University elected a new Chair as well as two staff representatives.

Applications are particularly encouraged from candidates with leadership experience in the higher education sector, or from a finance or audit background.
