ARCHITECTS REGISTRATION BOARD:Lay Chair Accreditation Committee

Remuneration: £390 per day.

The Architects Registration Board (ARB) is the UK statutory regulator of architects, and is responsible for setting the standards of education, training and competence required to become a UK-registered architect. The newly created Accreditation Committee will be responsible for making decisions about the accreditation of UK qualifications required for registration as an architect.

ARB is seeking to appoint a Lay Chair to lead the committee of six members, made up of three architect and three lay committee members, to ensure that decisions reached are robust and reasoned. The Committee will operate on a hybrid basis with meetings taking place online and in London periodically.

To be considered you must have: experience of chairing a committee, board, working group or similar; a strong background and experience of working within UK quality assurance or UK regulation; and, experience of applying good governance, and leading with diversity and inclusion at the heart of all that you do.
